The tour

Over the steepest post bus route in Europe with a gradient of 28 % you reach the Griesalp. On the continuously rising unpaved road you reach to Bürgli and from there via a well-paved road the wide valley basin in the Gamchi. From here starts a steep climb up to the Oberloch. Enjoy during the leisurely descent to the Mittelberg the wonderful panorama of the rear Kiental. Over a steep rock step you return to the Griesalp and through the wild and imposing Gries gorge to the Lake Tschingel. Along this unique flood plain landscape that was formed in 1972 by a severe thunderstorm, you reach the bus stop at the Restaurant Alpenruhe.
