This exciting hike takes you from the Wengernalp with wonderful views of the glaciers along the flanks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau up to the unspoilt natural setting of the Biglenalp. From there it continues through forests and across alpine meadows towards Mettla. Next up in the area of Stalden is a dense pine forest. Occasional glimpses of spectacular plunging views down to the valley floor, stretching out at the foot of the rock face some 800 m high. The final destination for the hike is the village of Wengen.
