The tour

This high-level hike takes you from Grosse Scheidegg across alpine meadows to the First mountain station and on to the famous lake Bachalp with views of the Jungfrau massif. Then it’s on through the moor landscape shaped by the Milibach stream down to the hamlet of Bachläger and the destination at Waldspitz. During the hike you will be able to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views, with the stunning contrast between the delightful Grindelwald valley against the rugged mountain flanks and the two Grindelwald glaciers.
