This lovely circular hike leads from the hut to the viewpoint Chammliegg at 2.427 m a.s.l. Afterward you cross a passage similar to a via ferrata, which presupposes very surefootedness and head for heights, down to the glacier lake. Over rock outcrops, past bogs, meltwater ponds and outwash plains you can experience the fascination of the Gauli to the fullest. The subsequent descent to the water falls requires further surefootedness and should be used only under absolutely dry conditions. Over alpine meadows and moorland you get back to the hut or to the valley.
